This pair of portraits were from a private commission by dancer and ballet instructor Ginger Page that I created at my studio in Buffalo. Ginger is a powerful and intense dancer, so rather than traditional dance photos of her in motion I decided to treat these more like I would a session with a pro-athlete, focusing more on her athleticism and strength, and creating an overall darker mood to the images with the dark green background.
