SOCCER SHOTS FOR M&T BANK
SOCCER SHOTS FOR M&T BANK

As a Buffalo, NY, photographer specializing in advertising, I'm often drawn to projects combining storytelling and community. So, when the opportunity arose to collaborate with Crowley Webb and M&T Bank on a new installment in a series of client success stories we collaborated on, I knew it would be special.
This project was part of a broader campaign showcasing the diverse and positive impact M&T Bank has on the businesses and communities they serve. My task was to capture the essence of Soccer Shots®, a program that instills a love for the game and healthy living in young children.
My crew and I drove to Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, where Soccer Shots is based. There, we joined up with the crew who would be creating the broadcast elements of this project. Jason Webb, co-founder of Soccer Shots, was our primary subject, and he perfectly embodied the program's spirit. His passion for the game as a former collegiate and pro player and his genuine care for these young athletes was contagious.

Throughout the day, we captured many vibrant images – children kicking the ball with determined expressions, coaches offering words of encouragement, and the pure joy on everyone's faces. We also created a series of hero portraits of Jason that would be used in print and out-of-home ads.
It was truly inspiring to witness the positive impact that Soccer Shots have on these young players. They weren't just learning soccer skills, building friendships, developing teamwork, and fostering a love for healthy fun.
I'm incredibly grateful to Crowley Webb, M&T Bank, and the fantastic team at Soccer Shots for inviting me to participate in this project.
