Yungpainkiller: A Portrait Trade with Pat Cray Part 2
In my last post, I shared the images Pat Cray (@yungpainkiller) created of me during our recent portrait trade. The whole thing was a total blast. He's one of my favorite photographers here in Buffalo, and his work is just... real. So, I was thrilled to have the chance to do this image trade.
We hit the streets for classic Pat-style shots but also jumped into the studio for a bit! It was cool to see him in both environments. Forget about perfect lighting or posing—I just wanted to capture Pat. We wandered the city, making images when we felt like it, and it was just pure, creative energy. It felt less like "work" and more just hanging out with a friend and fellow creative.
Seeing him through my lens, trying to catch that spark he has? That was the best part. There is no pressure, just good vibes and good photos. Here's some of the images I made of him
